I like the fonts well enough. "NCC" could be tightened/typeset to be the same length as the word above it. It's awkwardly "just not quite the same size right now" LOL
Lemme toss another comment at you tomorrow re: the graphic itself....
I made this logo on illustrator in like 10 minutes so I haven't had a chance to fine tune it yet. I'm just posting this to give ya'll an idea of what it will look like.
Okay, I dig this style. Here are my observations/suggestions. Try to kern out the NCY so that it spans the full width underneath the graphic and CAPSTONE. The scale b/w the graphic and CAPSTONE lettering is good. The CAPSTONE font, I like as well. Try some different font styles for the NCY - this will also help with increasing the spacing. If that fails, try dropping New Covenant Youth and replacing it with NCY - small bottom right.

We are going for the outdoorsy Columbia/Northface look for the logo so that we can put it on collard shirts/longsleeves/hats, etc.
